Service Matters An event that is well staffed is less stress and aggravation for you.
Many of my clients say someday I am going to through a party but, for many of us, "someday" never materializes because the stress and emotional strain of playing host overshadows the delight. These concerns often multiply when staging an event-without a clear and precise game plan, the food preparation or if catered, the serving, reheating and the clean up of the food and party space. The timing of service is essential to keeping a certain flow. If the food is served late or at inappropriate times when it comes to the rest of the events happening, it can throw your entire party off schedule and create a major disruption.
As a host you need to make sure all preparations for food and drink have been made well in advance. You should never be seen running around getting drinks or running into the kitchen to get more hors d'oeuvres out of the oven. By the time a party start the host should be ready to greet the guest at the door and be able to offer them a beverage. Pro Prep Events, clearly understand how difficult it is to balance it all. I always suggest to my clients to hire party helper (wait staff) and avoid embarrassing moment. With our wait staff by your side, you will be able to relax and enjoy your celebration with confidence. 40 - 60 guests require 2-3 service staff. 80 -100 guests require 4-5 service staff. Over 100 guests 1 staff member for every 25-30 guest.
Our service staffs are hired out at $25.00 per staff member 4 hours minimum / 2 staff minimum, time after, will be charged at $20 per staff per hour.
Additional cost for costume service staff, call for more information 1 flat fee of 25.00 charge for travel.
Keep in mind all service staff should be at the event not less then 1 hour prior to serving unless set-up & decorating is required, 4 hours for event, and 1 -3 hours for clean-up.
